Through our website contact and advertising forms, we may collect your personal information and business information relevant to your inquiry, such as your industry, import/export activities, and VAT compliance needs If you engage us as a client, we will collect additional information necessary to provide our services, including identification and know-your-customer (KYC) information required under Dutch anti-money laundering regulations (Wwft). This additional processing is governed by our client engagement agreement and a separate Data Processing Agreement.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to:
Respond to your inquiry and provide information about our VAT and logistics services;
Assess whether our services are suitable for your business needs;
Communicate with you about your potential engagement with Augmar.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on:
Your consent, when you voluntarily submit a form to request information; and/or
Our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and providing information about our services.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
If you do not become a client of Augmar, we retain your inquiry information for 12 months after your last contact with us, after which it is securely deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.
If you become a client, your information will be retained in accordance with our client engagement agreement and applicable Dutch tax record-keeping requirements.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be processed by service providers who support our website and communications (for example, hosting or email providers), acting on our instructions and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose your information where required by law or to competent authorities such as the Dutch Tax Authorities (Belastingdienst), but only in connection with services you have specifically engaged us for.
7. International Transfers
Our website is hosted by Squarespace. If any of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
